Right this minute in North Andover, at Stevens Memorial Library, Mark Bohrer is hosting Tuesday 4 Poetry.  Starts at 7 p.m.  The 4th Tuesday of the month.  Kenadine have "retired" and Mark has stepped up to be the host.


Tomorrow night, Wednesday, January 23, is the Lowell opening for the Eckfrastic book Soulmates:  A Union of Visual Arts and Poetry by the Arts Institute Group of the Merrimack Valley and the Grey Court Poets.  6:30 p.m., Whistler Museum, Lowell, MA.


Thursday, January 24th at 7PM, "Methuen Arts" will be meeting in the Study Room of the Nevins Library. We will review our current public arts projects including our "Poetry Sails" which are installed on the Spicket River Footbridge, and brainstorm other future projects. All are welcome.

Joppa Flats "The Arts and the Experience of Nature" series,

Two poets and one artist in this winter event:
     Michael Ansara, came to writing poetry later in life, after years as an organizer and activist. His work has appeared in numerous literary journals. He is co-founder and a board member of Mass Poetry.
       Alfred Nicol, is an award-winning Newburyport poet. His most recent full-length book of poetry, Animal Psalms, was published 2016. His poems have been published extensively in journals and anthologies.
         Lainie Senechal, has worked in watercolor for many years. Her work has been exhibited in the Boston area and beyond. She will present her paintings of birds and landscapes. She is the former Amesbury Poet Laureate and current Poet in Residence at Joppa Flats.
